Cataldi-Tassoni, Winner for AWARD OF EXCELLENCE in the category of Actress: Leading at the Best Shorts Competition.

Coralina Cataldi-Tassoni has won a prestigious AWARD OF EXCELLENCE at BEST SHORTS COMPETITION, in the category of ACTRESS: LEADING, for her fiercely courageous and emotionally wrenching portrait of Lady Macbeth in the highly anticipated short film LADY M 5.1

The film, directed by award-winning filmmaker Mariano Baino (DARK WATERS, CARUNCULA, NEVER EVER AFTER) is a screen adaptation of Lady Macbeth's soliloquy from Shakespeare's play MACBETH, Act 5, Scene 1.

“I am so grateful to have won this award,” Coralina Cataldi-Tassoni says, “and I could not have done it without the magnificent support of our small but hard-working and dedicated production team. Director Mariano Baino allowed me to explore, and truly experience, every single emotion. I felt I was able to take my time to really live the character.”

When asked about working with his leading lady, Baino declares: “Coralina’s keen intuition and freedom of expression, along with an awe-inspiring childlike innocence, are enmeshed with extreme discipline, professionalism, as well as unrivaled work ethic and boundless energy!”
